This may involve a victim responding to an ad saying they can earn big money by working from home or the victim has their resume on a job search website and someone calls asking for their driver’s license and bank account numbers before they are interviewed. If the victim answers the ad to work from home they will be asked for money for training or equipment expenses but there is no job. If the victim gives the caller their driver’s license and bank account numbers, the scammer may use that information to steal the victim’s identity or fraudulently access the victim’s bank accounts.
