Clean Sweep Annual Program
Clean Sweep has served the residents of Walworth County since 1992 and the annual program has proven successful in keeping hazardous waste out of the landfill, waste water treatment facilities, local environment and groundwater. Without a Clean Sweep program, Walworth County residents have no means to properly dispose of these products.
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
In addition, we listened to our residents and implemented an Appliance & Electronics Recycling event in the summer, with a smaller event included with our annual Clean Sweep in October. We are continuously looking at alternatives and solutions to help our environment and our community.
Contributions Needed
Adding other programs, such as E-waste and Tires, adds to the financial burden of these programs. Financial assistance from local communities, businesses and residents is vital to ensure sustainability of future collection events. Refer to the Contribution / Donation Form should you wish to donate towards our upcoming Clean Sweep & Recycling events. Contribution / Donation Form
