Hello Baby
Hello Baby Walworth County provides a nurse home visit for all caregivers of newborns
in the community. Participation is voluntary and at no charge, and open to all Walworth County families who have just given birth.
What to Expect
Families delivering at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center will receive information at the hospital. Families delivering at other healthcare facilities will receive a phone call from a Public Health Nurse or can sign-up using the Referral Form below.
- Assessment - Our nurses provide assessments for both the caregiver and baby including a mental health screening.
- Support - Each visit includes education and support tailored to your individual needs.
- Next Steps - Your nurse will ensure you have resources and referrals for any additional needs you or your baby might have.
Meet your Nurse
Molly:
With over 25 years of experience as a OB/GYN and fertility nurse, she has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to postpartum and newborn cares. Her client counseling skills and ability to coordinate multiple disciplinaries help support families during this delicate postpartum period. She has experience in managing high risk pregnancies and understands the emotional complexities of family building which contribute greatly, ensuring the well-being of new mothers and their babies.
Olivia:
Olivia is a dedicated postpartum visiting nurse. With her extensive ER experience and training in home visiting, she can confidently handle any situation with ease. Her kind heart will create a comfortable atmosphere, and her incident training command response training make her a highly skilled and reliable nurse for your needs.
