Financial Reporting

The financial reporting division of the Finance Department provides support in establishing and maintaining accurate and timely accounting services and reports for all County departments. This division performs the following duties:

  • Maintains capital asset records
  • Maintains general ledger records and reports
  • Prepares annual financial statements
  • Provides financial analysis and planning
  • Prepares financial reports required by outside grant agencies
  • Works with the Treasurer’s Office in cash investments

Records

All records are kept in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and financial reports are prepared in accordance with the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB).
