Serving on Boards and Committees

Through membership on committees, boards and commissions, citizens play an important role in helping the County Board carry out its responsibilities. Overseeing operations as diverse as municipal libraries and waste water management, citizens contribute their time and expertise to improve the quality of life in Walworth County.

Citizen committee appointments tend to fall into three broad categories:

  • County representatives on other organizations
  • Independent organizations
  • Standing committees of the board
