Child Support Services

  • Do not email the Child Support Agency (CSA) regarding court appearances. Call the office for assistance. An email to the CSA is not proper notice.
  • Effective January 1, 2023, there will be a $25 processing fee for all income withholdings for cases that do not receive child support services. Income withholdings will not be sent out until the fee is paid. Please call the agency for more information. 
  • If you wish to meet with your child support specialist in person, please make an appointment. Specialists continue to work remotely and may not be in the office. 
  • Please sign up for the Child Support App (information, below) or call the agency with questions.    

Mission

To enhance the well-being of children by assuring that assistance in obtaining support, both financial and medical, is available to children by locating parents, establishing paternity, establishing support obligations, and monitoring, enforcing, and reviewing those obligations.

Custody & Placement Issues

The Walworth County child support agency does not handle custody and placement issues. For help with custody and placement, contact the local family court commissioner or an attorney or visit Wisconsin Court System.

The current vendor for the child support debit card is WAY2GO debit card. The phone number for the WAY2GO card is 877-253-3686. More information on this card and answers to questions about it can be found on the Wisconsin Bureau of Child Support website.
