Medicare Part D Drug Plan Assessments during Open Enrollment October 15 to December 7
Medicare recipients have an open enrollment period between October 15 – December 7 every year. During Open Enrollment consumers have an opportunity to change Part D drug plans or their Medicare Advantage plan for the following year. Appointments with the ADRC Elder Benefit Specialist are set up for the consumers we have served in the past. If you would like to be part of this program call the ADRC. 262-741-3400.
Welcome to Medicare Workshops
If you will become eligible for Medicare soon, it may be beneficial for you to attend one of the Welcome to Medicare workshops at the Aging & Disability Resource Center (ADRC) of Walworth County. These workshops will cover what you need to know about your Medicare benefits, options, insurance coverage and medication coverage.
The workshops will be held four times per year at 1pm and 6pm in the Walworth County Room at Walworth County Health and Human Services, 1910 County Rd NN, Elkhorn. Attendees are encouraged to bring a list of their current medications for a Medicare Part D assessment. Medicare Minutes Program
Walworth County has a strong volunteer base. Trained volunteers present a Medicare Minute presentation within our nutrition sites, senior apartment complexes and organizations within the county. Volunteers present a 10-minute educational presentation with handouts on a different Medicare related topic each month.
