Whether it is supporting healthy birth outcomes or facilitating a live cooking demo with your kids at the library, our Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) team is here to create healthy outcomes for families in Walworth County. Our WIC team implements the WIC program many of us know - the supplemental nutrition program that supports the health of pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, infants, and children up to the age of 5 who meet income, medical, or nutritional eligibility requirements. These benefits are provided so families can get nutritious foods they deserve and need to grow healthy and happy. Our staff help support healthy eating, promote breastfeeding, and refer participants to health care.

Our WIC staff also participates in an array of community outreach & events. From live cooking demos with kiddos to facilitating classes on living with diabetes, our team is committed to helping community members achieve their greatest health at all stages of life. Right now, our WIC staff is getting ready for a live cooking demo with kids at Aram Public Library March 13th, 2023 from 4-5m. They are going to be teaching you how to make healthy and delicious grilled pizza roll ups! To register visit: http://bit.ly/aplregister or call 262-728-3111.
