New Eligible Groups

Walworth County Public Health is now registering the following next eligible groups for COVID-19 vaccination:

  • Education and child care
  • Individuals enrolled in Medicaid long-term care programs
  • Critical infrastructure and frontline essential workers
  • Mink husbandry

Vaccination for these groups will start no earlier than March 1, 2021, as vaccine supply allows.

Groups currently eligible for vaccine registration now include the groups listed above, as well as health care personnel; residents who live and those who work in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities; police, EMTs, fire personnel, and correctional staff; and adults ages 65 and over. For details and a complete list of vaccine eligible groups, please visit the Wisconsin Department of Health and Human Services Vaccine Eligibility Page. If you meet the criteria within an eligible group, please complete the COVID-19 Vaccination Registration form. There still is no waitlist for subsequent groups that include the general public. For updates, please register with Walworth County via the alert center here, or by checking our website’s COVID-19 Vaccination Page.
