Walworth County 2022 Clean Sweep & Electronics and Appliances Recycling Events 


Walworth, Jefferson, and Waukesha Counties will host a series of Clean Sweep household hazardous waste and electronics and appliances recycling events throughout 2022 that are open to Walworth County residents. 



Jefferson County Clean Sweep & Electronics

  • Friday, April 8, 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Clean Sweep only (no electronics)
  • Saturday, April 9, 8:00 a.m. to 10 a.m. Clean Sweep & electronics/appliances
  • Held at the Jefferson County Fair Park, 503 N. Jackson Ave., Jefferson

  • Registration is required ($10 per vehicle). Please call (920) 674-7430 to register.
  • Disposal fees for certain electronics ($35 for all TVs, $10 for all computer monitors and all-in-one monitors); cash only.
Waukesha Clean Sweep
  • Saturday, May 21, 8:00 a.m. to noon. Bring your Walworth County ID – no pre-registration is required
  • At the Village of Mukwonago Public Works Garage, 630 Hwy NN, Mukwonago

Walworth County Spring Clean Sweep
  • Saturday, June 25, 8:00 a.m. to noon
  • At the City of Delavan Public Works Garage, 490 Richmond Rd. (CTH-M), Delavan
Walworth County Electronics and select Appliances  
  • Saturday, July 23, 9:00 a.m. to noon
  • At Walworth County Public Works, W4097 County Rd. NN, Elkhorn
  • Accepts select electronics & appliances. Disposal fees for certain electronics ($35 for all TVs, $10 for all computer monitors and all-in-one monitors); cash only.
Walworth County Fall Clean Sweep –Friday, October 7, at the following times and locations:
  • Businesses only VSQG: 8:00 a.m. to noon, Walworth County Public Works, W4097 County Rd. NN, Elkhorn
  • 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Town of Linn Garage, N611 Zenda Rd., Linn
  • 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., City of Whitewater Public Works, 150 E. Starin Rd., Whitewater
Walworth County Fall Clean Sweep and Electronics
  • Saturday, October 8, 8:00 a.m. to noon
  • At Walworth County Public Works, W4097 County Rd. NN, Elkhorn
  • Accepts select electronics only and no appliances. Disposal fees apply for certain electronics (cash only).
The following sites offer household hazardous waste drop-off on select Saturdays throughout the year. Pre-registration is required. Call Walworth County Public Works for more details: (262) 741-3116 or email walcosw@co.walworth.wi.us.
  • Waukesha City Incinerator Building (900 Sentry Dr., Waukesha). 8:00 a.m. to noon. Second Saturdays of the month: February, March, and November; second and fourth Saturdays of the month: April to October.
  • Muskego (W124 S10391 S. 124th St., North of Emerald Park Landfill). 8:00 a.m. to noon, first and third Saturdays, February to November.
