If is important to keep the school updated if your child will not be in attendance due to illness or other planned/unplanned absence. Please contact the main office at 262-741-4118 to report an absence. You may also contact the School Nurse, if you have additional questions.

LSYou is programming available for students ages 18+ who have completed their Lakeland High School experience but require some continued services to work on their transition goals. LSYou students have not received their Diploma yet. LSYou provides opportunities for students to gain independent living skills, social skills, employment skills, and self-advocacy skills in real-life settings and to participate in age-appropriate activities in the community appropriate for each student and their post-secondary goals. School Fest is a parent-teacher sponsored event in which the proceeds are used to supplement the unique Special Education programming needs for each and every one of Lakeland School students. See the School Fest Webpage for additional information.
Lakeland School is an IEP placement option for residents of one of the 15 school districts in Walworth County. Students are placed in programs such as Lakeland School, based on an IEP team determination of need. Lakeland School is one option within a range of services. Less restrictive, mainstream options are always considered prior to placement. Parents and other members of the IEP team are encouraged to explore all options to endorse the program and placement most appropriate for each student. Please contact Your Walworth County School District to discuss Lakeland School as a placement option.
Lakeland School is an IEP placement option for residents in all of the 15 school districts in Walworth County. If, while attending Lakeland, you change your district of residence within the County, your student is eligible to continue at Lakeland School. Please notify Lakeland School (262-741-4118) of your move and contact your new Walworth County School District to register your student, and discuss continuing placement at Lakeland School. Students are placed in programs such as Lakeland School, based on an IEP team determination of need. Lakeland School is one option within a range of services. Less restrictive, mainstream options are always considered prior to placement.
